General info

Some general information for all our guests:

Ceremony and Reception: Both the ceremony and reception will be at Hoyt Arboretum, a short drive or light rail ride from downtown Portland. For directions and more information please visit the Hoyt Arboretum.

Please dress appropriately for an outdoor environment. Hiking boots and fleece are not necessary, but be prepared for soft ground. The dress will be laid back. We have attended West Coast weddings where attendees wear flip flops (oh the horror).

Hotel Reservations: There are rooms still available at the group rate at the Marriot in downtown. Please visit the Marriot City Center and use the code GTWGTWA to reserve a room with a king bed, and code GTWGTWB to reserve a room with two queen beds.

About Portland: We are excited for all of our out of town guests that will have the opportunity to explore Portland and it's surroundings. Be forewarned though, this city might turn you into a commie, tree-hugging, tattooed bicyclist if you aren't careful. There is plenty of sites to see within the city, and we are just over an hour drive from both the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Hood. Check out the following links for information on places to see and things to do.
